Richard is a licensed Florida real estate professional and a member of the Business Brokers of Florida (BBF), specializing in the sale of privately held businesses across South Florida. He works with business owners and buyers throughout the transaction process, focusing on clear communication, realistic expectations, and well-run deals.
Richard brings a background in investment banking and corporate development, with more than a decade of experience working on mergers and acquisitions on both the buy side and sell side. Before moving into business brokerage, he worked closely with private equity groups, company executives, and owner-operators, gaining firsthand insight into how buyers think, what they look for in a business, and how deals are ultimately put together.
That experience shapes how Richard approaches business sales today. He focuses on clearly explaining what makes a business valuable, helping owners understand their true sellable earnings, and running an organized and efficient sale process. His goal is to structure transactions that protect value for the seller while improving the likelihood that the deal actually closes.
Richard works closely with owners at every stage of the process, from preparing the business for market and positioning it to qualified buyers, to managing negotiations and guiding the transaction through closing.
A South Florida native, Richard earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He is known for his straightforward, professional approach and for helping business owners navigate a sale with clarity, confidence, and practical guidance.
